Arts Facilitator, British Red Cross

The Red Cross runs a range of services for asylum seekers, including men’s and women’s support groups. The men’s group is currently running arts workshops, focusing on producing personal narratives around experiences of migration and asylum, and are looking for community artists, in particular people with an expertise in creative writing, to facilitate these. As this is a men’s group, we are interested in working with a male artist.
We’re looking for artists with several years’ experience and training in therapeutic use of arts, and experience of working with people with mental health problems is essential.
This is a paid position. The group runs on Wednesdays from 11am to 1pm.
