Arvon’s Advanced Writing Programme 2026–28: Open for applications

The Programme offers 15 writers two years of sustained engagement and the opportunity to work towards completion of a project, whether in poetry, non-fiction or fiction.
Working closely with three dedicated tutors, Fiona Benson (poetry), Cynan Jones (fiction), and Jessica J. Lee (non-fiction), writers will access the following:
• three residential writing courses
• three online writing weeks
• six online group workshops
• eight 1-1 sessions
All courses and workshops are exclusive to the Advanced Writing Programme participants and are taught by your dedicated tutors, culminating in a graduation showcase with industry professionals.
There are five spots for each genre; three fully-funded grant places and three 50% funded grant places are available.
