Assistant Professor (Screen Writing), University of Warwick

The University of Warwick seeks to appoint a full-time Assistant Professor in Creative Writing (Screenwriting) with effect from October 2020.

The successful candidate will be a practising screenwriter and filmmaker with a background in literary studies and an active engagement with contemporary film, digital, and performance cultures.

You will have extensive experience teaching creative writing in the classroom at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.

The School of Creative Arts, Performance and Visual Cultures was established in August 2019 within the Faculty of Arts. It currently comprises the Warwick Writing Programme, Theatre and Performance Studies, and Cultural and Media Policy Studies; from August 2020 we shall be joined by History of Art.
