Level 5, Narrative Methods (Wednesday, Autumn Term)
Level 7, Writing Workshop, Option (Monday, Spring Term)
Level 7, Genre, Option (Wednesday, Spring Term)
Level 7, Writing the Planet (Thursday, Summer Term)
These modules on Birkbeck’s MA and BA Creative Writing are taught through a mix of lectures, seminars and writing workshops. You will have detailed knowledge and understanding of the craft of fiction writing, have published short or long-form fiction, and have experience of MA level teaching in Creative Writing.
Successful candidates will have:
detailed knowledge and understanding of the craft of fiction writing
experience of MA level teaching in Creative Writing
published short or long-form fiction
We especially welcome candidates with expertise and publications in the environmental humanities and/or eco-fiction and/or genre fiction (I.e. science fiction, crime fiction, romance or historical fiction).
