The School of Literature, Drama and Creative Writing is seeking to appoint an Associate Professor in Creative Writing (Prose) on an indefinite, part-time (0.75FTE) basis from 1 September 2021.
We are seeking an experienced prose writer to join our prestigious creative writing department and to teach on our flagship MA Prose Fiction course and other related courses and modules at PG and UG levels, as well as supervise creative-critical PhDs.
You will also take on academic leadership roles and be expected to contribute to the development of creative writing across the School of Literature Drama and Creative Writing, along with participating in other normal duties of an Associate Professor.
You will be a published prose writer with an international reputation, with experience of course design, grant capture, innovation and a track record of working on collaborative projects. Experience of writing and teaching creative non-fiction and/or digital writing will be an advantage.
