‘Beyond the Spectrum’ Writer Roles, Writing East Midlands/ InsightAutism

Writing East Midlands and InsightAutism are recruiting two writers in residence and three support writer/digital coordinators for Beyond the Spectrum which will invite adults and young people with Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC) in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire to connect with a lead writer with lived experience of autism through a series of creative writing sessions. All work will be delivered digitally via Zoom.
This is a pilot project designed to reduce isolation and loneliness which is hoped will lead to a larger region-wide project in 2021. The roles are expected to begin in mid-November 2020 and continue until the end of January 2021.
‘Beyond the Spectrum’ Writers in Residence – Adult
Fee: £720.00 (8 x Zoom sessions at £90 per 1.5 x hour session.) This fee is inclusive of all preparation work and materials, workshop leadership, follow-up work and evaluation. Details here
