Writing can be a powerful tool for healing and personal growth. Lapidus exists to support people who work with words, written or spoken, to promote good wellbeing and mental health. Our members include writers, health workers, counsellors, therapists, teachers and more.

We are seeking five people to join our board as company directors and help drive the organisation's plans forward.

There are five board places available, and we are seeking a commitment of between six months and three years. Enthusiasm and drive are more important than experience, however we would especially welcome people with knowledge, skills, or experience in the following areas:
Marketing and/or membership recruitment
Fundraising
Digital publications
Supporting professional development
Developing or managing a CPD programme
Events programming
Coordinating and managing relationships with local volunteer groups
An interest in reading, writing, wellbeing, creativity, or mental health would be an advantage.
