Bremen UNESCO City of Literature Virtual Residency

To promote literature in digital media, the Bremer Literaturhaus, with the support of the Senator for Culture, awards the Bremer Netzresidenz every two years as a three-month online scholarship in the virtual Literaturhaus Bremen. Published writers, especially those from UNESCO Cities of Literature, are encouraged to apply with a project idea.

The focus of the residency will be creative and critical engagement with current digital media, with an emphasis on innovative literary or artistic methods.

The virtual residency at Literaturhaus Bremen runs from 1 March to 31 May 2025. The scholarship is endowed with a one-off amount of €2500. Supported by the Senator for Culture.
