Ministry of Stories (MoS) is a writing and mentoring centre where young people aged eight to 18 can come and discover their gift for writing. Through an innovative writing programme and one-to-one mentoring, we help children and young people discover and realise their own creative potential.
We build the confidence, creativity and craft of their writing through in-school and out-of-school writing clubs. Then we provide a publishing and performance platform for young writers, so these fresh, exciting voices are shared with the world.
The Ministry is recruiting for a creative Business Development Manager who will engage new and existing school partners, maximise income and build successful relationships with teachers and school leaders.
With strong business acumen and excellent communication skills, you will understand schools’ priorities and how our work is aligned to their needs. You may have a background as a creative practitioner, with an interest in the business side engaging with schools.
You will understand the challenges of working with schools and have a good knowledge of the current education environment, and will continue developing and implementing our strategy to sustain and grow the Ministry of Stories school club programme.
