Call for Proposals for 3rd European Biblio/Poetry Therapy Conference 'Pilgrims of the Page'
The 3rd European Biblio/Poetry Therapy Conference will take place in Canterbury on 1st-2nd October 2026. We welcome proposals for presentations or workshops from people who are professionally active in biblio/poetry therapy and aligned disciplines on any aspect of biblio/poetry therapy research, theory or practice.
Each parallel session is 90 minutes and will consist of either three presentations or one 90-minute / two 45-minute workshops. Presentations should last a maximum of 20 minutes enabling time for discussion, interaction and questions. We will aim to organise the sessions by theme or approach and may put presenters in touch with each other ahead of the conference.
Presentations and workshops are both expected to combine elements of theory and participation.
We are keen for the Conference to act as a catalyst for future cooperations across Europe so please bear this in mind when developing your proposal.
Please note that conference participation is in-person only and all presentations and workshops will require your presence in Canterbury.
If you are a less experienced practitioner or presenter, you may wish to consider sharing your ideas on the Wednesday pre-conference day instead of at the main conference. To participate in the research-focussed workshop, please register
