You must be aged between 20 and 30, and a graduate, to apply. You will have a rigorous eye for detail, first-rate written and verbal communication skills and will be dedicated to pursuing a career in publishing.

As a Canongate Graduate Trainee you will work across our Editorial, Rights and Campaigns departments in our Edinburgh office and will gain a comprehensive understanding of the entire publishing process over the course of a twelve month contract.

This is a paid, entry-level position part-funded by Creative Scotland’s Creative Traineeship programme, which helps young people starting out in the arts and creative industries.
