Ledbury Poetry seeks a Chair of Trustees at a time of exciting growth.
This is an important moment for the charity as it works to establish The Poetry House, a non-metropolitan centre for the development of the artform, based in the historic Elizabeth Barret Browning Institute, Ledbury. We are putting Ledbury on the map as England's pre-eminent Poetry Town. We are redefining our future, and that of the artform, as part of a growing national and international network of inspirational poetry places.
You will provide effective and inclusive leadership. You will have the time, energy, and passion necessary to help us realise our ambitions and fulfil the Charity's mission. You will be an effective ambassador and advocate with our supporters, patrons and stakeholders. This is a voluntary role but Ledbury Poetry will reimburse all reasonable travel or out-of-pocket expenses.
