Are you a passionate, dynamic and creative children’s and/or picture book writing tutor? Then join us to teach courses, in-person and/or online, helping to bring together people across London and beyond and to enrich lives through learning.

City Lit are London's largest provider of learning for adults, inspiring over 30,000 students a year and offering more than 5,000 courses, online and face-to-face. As a leader in our field, we have a century’s reputation for delivering the highest quality student experience.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with the Writing Department, a team of over eighty committed writing professionals who provide the widest range of creative, academic, and business writing courses to adults in London.

If you are a published writer with experience teaching creative writing to adults, and an interest in current debates in creative writing, we would love to hear from you. You will be part of a supportive team, and receive plenty of opportunities for developing your teaching practice.

We are looking to recruit dynamic and innovative writer-teachers who can plan, teach and evaluate Writing courses, face-to- face in our Keeley Street building and/or online. We are interested in tutors able to teach in the following areas:
• Children’s writing
• Picture book writing

£35.78 per hour, inclusive of pro rata holiday entitlement and preparation time
