We are seeking a Course Leader to join our dynamic team of professional writers and academics, who deliver an outstanding student experience across undergraduate, taught postgraduate and doctoral provision in creative and professional writing.
You will be one of three undergraduate course leaders in the department, with a particular responsibility for nurturing outreach opportunities with wider communities, both to develop students' employability and feed into our recruitment for undergraduates.
You will have experience of working within publishing, with a track record of high-quality professional critical and/or creative outputs, a national and/or emerging international profile, and current networks in the creative industries, particularly in publishing.
You will have experience in programme leadership within HE, and be adept at enthusing and leading students and staff in reaching their potential.
Your teaching may cross the BA in Creative Writing, the BA in English & Creative Writing, the forthcoming BA in Publishing and the MA in Professional Writing.

Permanent, full-time, Salary £46,718 - £51,034 per annum, dependent upon experience
