Cove Park Literature Residencies 2016

In 2016 Cove Park will award a minimum of three Literature Residencies, of between one and three months each to take place take place during May to September 2016

UK-based and International writers may apply. Applications are invited from established writers of short and long fiction; poetry; creative non-fiction and memoir; work that crosses these genres and also writers who have made their reputation in one field and wish to develop in another. To be eligible for consideration, writers must have published (not self-published) at least one full-length book in their field.

We will also offer a residency of up to one month for an Emerging Writer in Scotland. Applicants for this residency need not have published a full length book, but must be able to show exceptional promise.

Previous literature residents include Margaret Atwood, Anne Carson, Brian Chikwava, Helen Cross, Rachel Cusk, Fred D'Aguiar, Joe Dunthorne, Jennie Erdal, Rodge Glass, John Glenday, Jen Hadfield, Margie Orford, Tom Pow, Jack Mapanje, Michael Pedersen, Jo Shapcott, Zoe Strachan, Chiew-Siah Tei, Kate Tough, Christos Tsiolkas, Chika Unigwe, Louise Welsh, Nicola White.
