Cranked Anvil Quarterly Play Writing Competition

Cranked Anvil have opened their International Radio Play Writing Competition. Any theme/genre, any setting, no limit to the number of characters. An array of prizes, including cash, a professional audio recording which is broadcast on UK radio and around the world online, and possible publication in a future digital anthology.
They are seeking submissions of radio/audio scripts for broadcast. Scripts should be around 10-20 minutes in length, can be any theme/genre/setting, and there is no limit to the number of characters in your play.
There are two top prizes of £50 and £35, plus a fantastic additional prize package:
Winning entries, plus an unlimited number of 'Special Mentions' will have professional audio recordings of the plays made. These will be broadcast on UK radio (Radio Northumberland, our local affiliate station), and online around the world. The recordings will also be placed on our own online platform, and available on demand to be listened to at any time.
They will also be included in future digital playscript anthologies, published by Cranked Anvil.
A selection of short-listed entries may also be considered for inclusion in digital anthologies and audio recordings.
Entrants must be over 16. Entries must be written in English.
Writers can enter up to 3 plays each quarter. £12 for 1 entry, £22 for 2, £30 for 3.
