Creative Commission Exploring Blossom, The National Trust
Deadline: Mon 8 Aug 2022
The National Trust is inviting an artist, artist collaboration or creative practitioner(s) to explore spring blossom and what it means to people, and enable people, wherever they are, to share in the natural spectacle of blossom. This is part of the inaugural Festival of Blossom 2023.
The overall value of this commission is £120,000+VAT.
The National Trust will also pay £750 for the development of proposals from shortlisted artists and cover interview travel costs in addition to this.
We particularly encourage applications from those currently under-represented within the UK arts sector, including those of Black, Asian or other Global Majority ethnicities, those who have faced socio-economic barriers, those who identify as LGBTQI+ and those who are disabled or neurodiverse.
Open to all art forms (including the written word).
