Deadline: Fri 23 Jul 2021
Attenborough Arts Centre, Pedestrian and the British Museum are seeking a Lead Creative Facilitator for the Where we are… Leicester partnership who will collaborate with young people in co-creating responses to the ‘World is a Work in Progress’ exhibition at AAC this autumn.
Where we are...is a new programme from the BM, funded by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation. From 2021-2025 the programme will work with third sector and cultural partners across the country to develop meaningful arts and cultural projects with young people.
The Leicester project will run September – December 2021 and will invite young people to creatively respond, collaborate and coproduce content inspired by the exhibition and themes of social action.
The project will amplify under-represented voices in the arts, and in Leicester, and provide young people with skills and experiences of working in the arts.

We are looking for a skilled creative / cultural facilitator who is experienced in engaging and empowering young people to take the lead and to co-create meaningful interventions and dialogue around the arts and social justice. We will work with 10 young people aged 18-24 from across Leicester.
