Creative Health Practitioners, Artlift & Art Shape
Deadline: Fri 30 Jul 2021
Artlift and Art Shape are experienced Arts on Prescription service providers who co-produce programmes with NHS Glos Clinical Commissioning Group and other partners. We are diversifying our joint pool of artists (all art forms including literature).

Our Creative Health Practitioners will plan, deliver, and support evaluation of a range of projects and courses. They will deliver on programmes such as Artlift’s Create Well (mental health) and Living Well with Chronic Pain programmes and/or Art Shape's programmes for unemployed 16-35 year-olds and for children and young people with long-term conditions.

Creative Health Practitioners work in a personalised way with participants in online and/or venue-based groups in the community, gently introducing new ideas and creative techniques that will help vulnerable people explore their own creativity and learn new skills at their own pace. An important part of the work is support participants' Move On opportunities so they can sustain wellbeing post-course.

We would particularly welcome applications from Black and Asian artists to address gaps in our workforce, diversify the range of traditions our arts activities draw on, and to make our programmes attractive to a wider diversity of participants.

Got to www.artlift.org to find out more and apply.

Deadline: 30th July 2021
