The Leeds Creative Labs programme is an initiative developed and led by the Cultural Institute at the University of Leeds. The programme has been running since 2012 and has already created over 24 successful collaborations.

All Lab members attend a launch event on 14 January 2019 at which participants will meet their matched partners for the first time. Following the launch event, participants will meet in their individual Labs for the equivalent of at least three days between mid-January and end February with times and dates arranged independently to suit partners.

Participants aren’t expected to respond to a specific brief, rather to enter into the experience on an equal footing, and to explore and create ideas together without an agenda. With no expectation of an output, the process allows partners to establish the focus of their engagement with each other from the outset.

£1,000 fee inclusive of tax and all personal costs + £300 Creative lab project costs budget per collaboration
