Creative Practitioners, Moat Brae
Deadline: Mon 14 Jun 2021
In 2019, Moat Brae opened its doors as Scotland's National Centre for Children's Literature and Storytelling. We are looking for experienced creative practitioners and workshop facilitators for our summer programme.

Moat Brae opened with a mission to work towards a world where reading and storytelling are an intrinsic part of growing up. The Centre prides itself on offering a varied and fully accessible creative learning programme that is both educational and fun. As the Centre prepares to again open its doors post-COVID, we are looking to develop our summer creative learning programme.

You must be motivated and confident to work with children and adults with additional needs. Activities will include but are not limited to, sensory storytelling, sensory activities, inclusive activities, performing, storytelling and accessible art & crafts.

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to a Practitioner Day on Wednesday 16th June for a discussion about their activity or specialism.

All applicants must be a member of the PVG scheme and be eligible to work in the UK. If successful, fees will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
