Creative Producer, Ted Hughes Poetry Festival

The Ted Hughes Poetry Festival is heading into its fifth successful year and after last year’s diverse and dynamic programming, the committee are looking for a flexible, creative individual to deliver it to yet new creative heights.

Essential

• Highly motivated, demonstrating initiative, flexibility and resilience under pressure.
• An understanding of and a willingness to implement creative, collaborative processes.
• Excellent communication skills with artists, committee members, stakeholders, etc. • Demonstrate ability to prioritise conflicting workloads, organize by distance, via email/phone.
• Experience of working in the arts/community.
• Planning/coordination role.
• A commitment to engaging communities.
• IT competent, Microsoft Office, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Mail Chimp, etc. Preferred • Previous Creative Producing Experience.
• Interest in Arts / Literature / Poetry • Experience using Indesign/Canva/Photoshop.
An understanding of Doncaster, Mexborough areas, the South Yorkshire region, and the challenges associated with engaging audience participants.

One day per week for approximately 35 weeks @ £150 per day. Payment £5,250 p/a. Start date approx 1st November - mid-June 2019.
