Applications are invited for two full-time Lecturer posts in the School of Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics at Bangor University: a Lecturer in Creative Writing and a Lecturer in Creative Writing and English Literature. Both posts to start in September 2020.
Lecturer in Creative Writing (Job Ref: BU02146)
The successful candidate will be an outstanding practitioner with a promising publication record. Duties will include teaching across a range of undergraduate and postgraduate provision as well as maintaining an active research programme leading to publications at a level of international excellence. Ability to teach fiction and/or creative nonfiction would be an advantage, but applications from specialists in other literary genres are welcome.
Lecturer in Creative Writing and English Literature (Job Ref: BU02147)
The successful candidate will be an outstanding practitioner with a promising publication record. Duties will include teaching across a range of undergraduate and postgraduate provision as well as maintaining an active research programme leading to publications at a level of international excellence. While the focus of the successful candidate’s work will be in Creative Writing, an ability to teach modern / contemporary English Literature will also be required.
