Creative Writing Workshop Leader, Kentish Town Community Centre
Deadline: Sat 26 Sep 2020
Kentish Town Community Centre are looking for a workshop leader to write and teach for their Older People’s Project Creative Writing Club. The club is initially a correspondence class until such time as the members can meet face to face at the community centre.
We are ideally looking for someone with teaching or writing workshop experience who would be happy to get involved with our members and provide a fun and fulfilling experience for all involved. The role would be paid based on a fixed delivery fee per month.
This will be a very rewarding role working with the older members of Kentish Town's local community, providing a fun and vital resource to older and vulnerable people currently living through the Coronavirus pandemic.
The class would be delivered monthly although the leader would be expected to communicate with class members directly and potentially more frequently where feedback was required.
As part of the correspondence portion of class, the leader would create a monthly workbook which would include discussing a different writer for each edition, sourcing poetry to talk about and providing writing exercises to the club members.
Drop an email to olderpeople@ktcc.org.uk to request a full job description.
Deadline: 26th September 2020
