The Poetry Society is one of the UK's most dynamic arts charities, representing British poetry both nationally and internationally through a range of projects, partnerships and publications for diverse audiences of all ages.
We are looking for an energetic individual to join our Young People’s Education team. You will be responsible for project managing the Foyle Young Poet of the Year Award, delivering the most prestigious talent development scheme for 11-17 year-old emerging voices in the world.
You will also contribute to a wide range of other ambitious schools and young people's initiatives in poetry and spoken word, develop new project ideas, and help coordinate our team of poet educators and practitioners. Every year we collaborate with a range of exciting partners, with current high-profile projects ongoing with COP26, the University of Oxford, Stemettes and 59 Productions.
If you are passionate about young people's arts education – particularly poetry, spoken word and creative writing – please get in touch. We'd love to hear from you if you would like to work in a small team of dedicated and imaginative people who share your determination to develop opportunities for young people of all backgrounds to discover their creative potential.
You will be a creative education producer looking to use your skills in every aspect of project management and ready to develop and learn in a supportive environment.
