Events Coordinator, Seven Stories National Centre For Children's Books

Seven Stories is an award-winning National museum for children’s books in Newcastle upon Tyne. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced events coordinator to plan and implement imaginative, varied and sustainable arts programmes for children, young people and families.
This role sits within the Creative Learning and Engagement team, working closely with Collections & Exhibitions, Trading, Operations and Marketing teams to coordinate an extensive range of activities including author/illustrator events, creative writing and storytelling, children’s theatre and partnership events.
In this role you will increase and diversify Seven Stories audiences through programming innovative, popular and inclusive events and activities inspired by children’s books. You will be an excellent communicator, able to work comfortably with a growing network of arts and education professionals, bringing ideas and energy to this fast paced and varied role.
With proven experience of creating a broad range of events and activities, you will have an entrepreneurial approach to event programme planning and production, with the ability to coordinate complex logistics for small to large scale events.
