Events Producer, Exeter UNESCO City of Literature

Exeter UNESCO City of Literature (ExCoL) is seeking a temporary Events Producer. You will be responsible for producing and co-producing ExCoL's stakeholder and public events including our large annual Book Market in June, an author gathering in the spring, an experiential private stakeholder event in October, and other one-off events as needed.
The role of the Events Producer is to manage the logistics of our events to enable them to go as smoothly as possible. You're someone who is actively engaged in your community, passionate about building local connections, and you have a strong sense of where young professionals and diverse audiences like to spend their free time.
Depending on the nature of the event or programme, the Event Producer may also be involved in bringing content ideas to the table and seeing them through to completion.
The role will average approximately 1-2 days per week, more during the larger events (such as the Book Market on a Sunday in June).
Fee: £200-£300 per day depending on experience.
Contract: Temporary and part-time until the end of October, with the possibility of a contract extension.
Location: You must be available to work in Exeter as needed.
