Freelance Artist Facilitator, Hastings Contemporary

Hastings Contemporary is seeking to increase its roster of freelance creative facilitators to deliver on our exciting programme of public events and to feed into the future development of this programme. We are looking for practitioners with strong creative skills and an interest in community engagement.
What we would expect of you:
- to work within our organisational values and policies.
- to plan and deliver sessions in collaboration with our Learning team.
- to provide session plans and material and space requirements in a timely manner.
- to work with the Learning team to prepare and clear the spaces.
- to be open to applying for enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Baring Service) check.
- to provide evidence of your right to work in the UK.
We are particularly interested in applications from people from backgrounds which are underrepresented in the museums and galleries sector, including people from low-income backgrounds, people with disabilities and people from Black, Asian and ethnically diverse backgrounds.
Our standard day rate is up to £225 depending on experience.
