Freelance artist facilitators (all art forms), Hebden Bridge Arts
Deadline: Wed 14 Dec 2022
Hebden Bridge Arts is looking for freelance artist facilitators working across all art forms to take the lead roles in delivering workshops with community and public groups for Open Space 70.

Starting in the new year, our community programme of activity, supported by the Platinum Jubilee Lottery Fund, will lead to a July 2023 festival weekend of 70 exhibitions, events, happenings, performances, workshops, and walks.

Professional artists and experts will work with members of the public and community groups as makers, curators, exhibitors, and hosts - opening homes, yards, sheds, barns, and gardens, and taking over public outdoor spaces to celebrate the natural world and call for a creative response to climate emergency through small acts of provocation and change.

The work produced by the groups through the workshops will be presented at Open Space 70 festival (Thursday 13 – Sunday 16 July 2023).

We welcome applications from artists working in the visual and performing arts. All work made for Open Space 70 must engage directly with themes connected to climate emergency.

A full application pack is available at www.hebdenbridgearts.co.uk

Deadline: 14th December 2022
