Freelance Artists, The Hepworth Wakefield

We are seeking freelance artists working in a range of disciplines including Poetry/literacy/storytelling and Performance to collaborate on our Learning programme, focusing on engaging local audiences with Wakefield’s Art Collection and our exhibition programme.

We are looking to recruit early career artists with an interest in engaging broad audiences in their practice and experienced artist-educators based in Yorkshire.

Artists will work in collaboration with our Learning Team to devise and deliver workshops and projects for schools and colleges, families, young people outside of formal education and our local communities.

We are also seeking artists with experience of teaching in the classroom (KS1–4, FE) and facilitating teacher CPD, and artists who have experience of developing resources for students, teachers and families.
