Freelance creative facilitators, Writerz and Scribez

We are looking for creatives (poetry, spoken word, theatre, music, film, photography) who are passionate about social change to design, develop and deliver workshops with marginalised communities (both online and in person) on a freelance basis.
Writerz and Scribez are an innovative social enterprise committed to using art as a tool for social change. Over the last seven years we have embedded ourselves in local communities, delivering high quality art experiences to excluded and marginalised groups (including those impacted by homelessness, domestic violence, offending, low mental health, loneliness etc) with the aim to reduce social isolation, develop creativity and improve wellbeing.
We are looking for creatives that are confident in their field, able to engage with a range of people, have experience delivering and evaluating workshop sessions on a one-off and longer term basis.
We will prioritise applications from artists who are emerging, interested in the power of arts to change communities and are typically underrepresented in the arts and from those with a connection to London. However we accept applications from artists based across the UK as we are expanding opportunities and some sessions will be hosted online.
£25 per hour starting rate
