Freelance Creative Writing Facilitator

Richmond Theatre’s Creative Learning department is looking for a Freelance Creative Writing teacher to join our team.

You will be responsible for planning and delivering our new 6 week intensive Creative Writing course starting at the end of January 2018. Be it poems, plays, short stories or scripts, participants will use the theatre and its beautiful settings to inspire their writing. The teacher’s role will be to encourage, facilitate and guide them. The course runs from 23rd January – 6th March. (No class on 13th February). Sessions are on Tuesdays 11am-1pm.

You will have a history of successfully leading creative writing workshops and will have a creative approach to teaching.

Personal specification
• Experience in running creative writing workshops.
• Enthusiastic, fun and creative.
• Flexible and with strong organisation skills.
• Good time management.

Pay: £30 per hour on a freelance basis.
