Freelance Events Organiser, Hexham Book Festival

We are looking to appoint a freelance events organiser to programme and deliver our popular Schools Festival based in Queen’s Hall arts over 4 days from 2nd - 5th July 2024 and one day KidsFest (Family Day) to be held on either 29th or 30th June 2024.
The ideal candidate will have some experience of festivals and a keen interest in children’s
events and literature, as well as a passion for the arts and festival management in particular.
5-month part time freelance contract (February to July)
2 days a week on average ( total of 45 days)
Freelance fee: £9,000.
