Freelance Storyteller at The Invention Rooms, White City Campus, Imperial College London
Deadline: Fri 20 Dec 2019
We are looking for a talented storyteller to develop and deliver STEM focussed storytelling and making sessions for young children (primarily 2 – 5-year olds) and their families to be delivered at The Invention Rooms, White City and select local partners.
Imperial College London is a world-leading university with a mission to benefit society through education and research in science, engineering, medicine and business. As part our mission to address global challenges, we are building a major innovation campus at White City in west London.
A key part of our vision is to engage with people of all ages and backgrounds in the local community around White City. In line with this objective, we are seeking to develop a portfolio of high-quality engagement activities to engage young family audiences.
We want to deliver storytelling sessions that engage family audiences with playful, exciting content around science, technology and making in new exciting ways. We are especially interested in looking at how storytelling can be integrated with a physical making experience where participants have the opportunity to make their own creations based around a story or theme.
