Funicular Magazine: Call for submissions

Funicular Magazine was launched in late 2018 with the aim of publishing quality fiction and poetry that shocks, surprises, moves, and tickles. Based in Edmonton, Alberta, the magazine welcomes submissions of previously unpublished short fiction, flash fiction and poetry from both Canadian and international writers.
Submissions to Funicular Magazine are free or writers can elect to receive a personalised response within one week of submission in exchange for a $5 fee.
Word Limits:
Short Fiction: Up to 3000 words (flexible)
Flash Fiction: Up to 1000 words
Poetry: Up to three pieces per submission
Payment:
Short Fiction: $10 per printed page (up to a maximum of $100)
Flash Fiction: $25 per piece
Poetry: $25 per piece
All contributors also receive one copy of the issue in which their work appears.
