Hastings Book Festival Writing Competitions 2023

The annual Hastings Book Festival Writing Competitions are now open for entries. The two competitions - for Poetry and for Fiction - are open to all writers over the age of 18 years and can be on any subject.
There are two competitions:
1. Poetry - submissions must be a maximum of 40 lines
2. Fiction - submissions must be no more than 2500 words
There is no theme - writers can choose any subject they want.
In each competition the main prizes are - 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will be awarded a cash prize of £250, £100 and £50, respectively. Other prizes are also available.
In each competition the price for one entry is £7.50 - for two entries: £13 - for 3 entries £20
