Head of Creative Programme, Shakespeare Birthplace Trust

The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust is seeking to recruit a Head of Creative Programme to develop and deliver an ambitious, diverse, high-quality programme of activity aimed at stimulating our local, national and international visitors into new ways of seeing and thinking about Shakespeare. This is a new role within the organisation made possible by the award of NPO (Arts Council England National Portfolio) status from April 2018.
The successful candidate will have significant experience of working as a creative producer. They will have commissioned and developed work with artists across a range of media from the visual to the performing arts, including digital. They will already have credibility within the cultural sector; and will have a track-record of networking with creatives in the UK.
We are flexible on the working pattern which can be discussed at interview.
