We are currently seeking to appoint a dynamic leader and manager as Head of Subject for Creative Writing & English. You will be responsible for a portfolio that includes the successful BA (Hons) Creative Writing, BA (Hons) English, BA (Hons) English with Creative Writing, MA Professional Writing and MA Writing for Script & Screen courses as well as a new BA in Publishing and Communications.
As Head of Subject, you will have significant knowledge and understanding of current creative writing and professional publishing practices. You will also have excellent communication skills and the commitment to design and deliver an outstanding learning experience for the students.
Candidates will be expected to demonstrate high-level professional experience in Creative Writing departments and a proven track record of teaching and nurturing creative talent. You will be joining a dynamic subject area that is regionally and internationally networked, both in terms of its staff and its students.
