Hourglass Literary Magazine announces its maiden writing contest for Best Short Story, Best Essay, Best Poem

Hourglass Literary Magazine announces its maiden writing contest for Best Short Story, Best Essay, Best Poem - www.hourglassonline.org. Sponsored by Literature and Latte, Astrohaus, The Literary Encyclopedia, Krajina Klas and BLC College (Banja Luka College) the contest is international in format without theme or genre boundaries.

For our 1st annual competition - especially/only for workshops writers and foremost for students - we are happy that we can provide submissions for $10.59 (per paper) and $13.59 (for up to three pieces). For more information, please do not hesitate to write at hourglass.literary.magazine@gmail.com

Wining entry in each category will receive US$1000. The jury, comprising highly respected authors Sibelan Forrester, Jelena Lengold and John K. Cox has the right to give a special prize (US$ 500 for entry in each category). 

Submission fee per paper is $13.59 for short story / non-fiction, except for POETRY where up to three submissions are accepted for $13.59. Papers, works are accepted via our submission tool (Submittable): http://hourglass.submittable.com/ .
