The Story Museum in Oxford is looking for a Participation Coordinator to develop and strengthen its projects and partnerships. They are also recruiting for a Digital Story Intern.
Participation Coordinator
This is a crucial role in spearheading the implementation of the museum’s charitable objectives and vision to enrich all lives, especially young lives, with stories. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with previous experience of working in the context of cultural and/or community engagement and with a keen appetite for brokering, developing and sustaining relationships with diverse groups.
Salary: £20,000-£22,000 pro rata
Contract: Part-time 0.6, permanent contract
Hours: 22.5 hours per week. Weekend and evening work may be required, for which time off in lieu will be given.

Digital Story Intern
The Story Museum is seeking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic intern to work with the Learning & Participation team to develop and deliver a brand-new collection of workshops, using Minecraft and VR gaming to connect people with their creative lives and the magic of stories. The successful candidate will need to have a passion for stories and gaming and experience of working with children and young people.
Salary: £18,525 pro rata (based on £9.50 per hour)
Contract: Part-time 0.4 (2 days per week) for 3-6 months
Hours: 15 hours per week. Weekend, Bank Holiday, and evening working will be required for which time off in lieu will be given.
