Katherine Mansfield Society Essay Prize 2025

The Katherine Mansfield Society has announced its annual essay prize competition for 2025, open to all, on the subject of Katherine Mansfield’s Men.
Essays that address any aspect of the theme of Katherine Mansfield’s Men are welcome.
The winner will receive a cash prize of £200 and the winning essay will be considered for publication in Katherine Mansfield Studies, vol. 18 (2026), the peer-reviewed yearbook of the Katherine Mansfield Society, published by Edinburgh University Press.
Panel of judges include:
Dr Andrew Harrison, University of Nottingham, UK
Kathleen Jones, Royal Literary Fund Fellow and Biographer (Chair)
Dr Martin Griffiths, Author and Musician
Submissions of c. 6000 words (inclusive of endnotes), accompanied by an abstract, 5 keywords, and 50-word biography, are invited.
