KSCPP (Korean Spirit and Culture Promotion Project) National Essay Contest 2022
Deadline: Sun 15 Jan 2023
An essay contest for students looking to expand their knowledge of Eastern culture and philosophy.

Korea is an increasingly prominent nation on the world stage and understanding its history and values could be an advantage for students looking to expand their understanding of Eastern culture. The contest is open to all students from Year 6 upwards, and we will hold two separate competitions for students in Years 6-9, and Years 10-13 respectively.

The essay topic is based on the publication Chung Hyo Ye, a book of traditional tales of filial devotion, loyalty, respect, and benevolence from the history and folklore of Korea. The book is available to download (at no cost) here or from the project website

Free to enter.
