Lead + Associate Artist Residencies, Peterborough Presents
Deadline: Sun 28 Feb 2021
Calling all artists who love working with people and stories! Peterborough Presents are seeking two artists - a Lead Artist and an Associate Artist - to create a series of public artworks which respond to stories and memories of people from the Millfield area over the last 40 years.

We want to celebrate the area of Millfield’s recent history and its people – past and present. This residency will form part of the Millfield Link project, and culminate at the Millfield Festival in August 2021. The Lead Artist and the Associate Artist will work together to collaborate on a series of public artworks to be displayed on a temporary or permanent basis in the Millfield area.

The residency is open to artists of all disciplines including visual art, street art, poetry, music, dance, theatre, photography, and film.

As the intended outputs for this project are a series of public artworks to be displayed along Lincoln Road and the surrounding Millfield area, we are not looking for performance-based outputs. Performance artists are welcome to apply, as long as they are able to come up with ways for the work to be displayed visually at the end of the project.

Fees

Lead Artist - £4500
Associate Artist - £3000
An additional materials budget of £1500 is also available.

Peterborough Presents is committed to championing diversity in all its forms, particularly those who are underrepresented in the arts.
