Lecturer Below the Bar in English (Creative Writing), National University of Ireland, Galway

Applications are invited for an appointment as Lecturer Below the Bar, specific purpose contract, part-time (0.30 FTE) in English (Creative Writing) at NUI Galway to contribute to the teaching and administration of our School’s Creative Writing programmes until 31 August 2024. There are two posts to be filled.
The School of English and Creative Arts comprises the disciplines of English, Drama, Film & Digital Media, and Music. The area of Creative Writing is a major part of the School’s curriculum, delivered chiefly through the four-year BA in English in Creative Writing and the one-year MA in Writing. There is a highly active research culture in English, with a particular interest in practice-based research. For the past four years we have been ranked among the top 150 English departments in the QS World University rankings.
