Lecturer in Creative Writing, Edinburgh Napier University

We are looking to appoint a part-time Lecturer in Creative Writing (17.5 hours per week) who will be responsible for helping to design and deliver a new fully online global Masters in Creative Writing that reflects our focus on career development for emerging genre writers.

The role may also be responsible for helping the Creative Writing team work face-to-face with students at postgraduate and undergraduate levels.

You will work within the small, dedicated Creative Writing team to design and deliver a fully online global Masters in Creative Writing. This new programme will reflect our focus on student-centred teaching and learning for emerging genre writers, while enabling asynchronous engagement from wherever in the world students may be living.

Who we are looking for
You will be qualified with a PhD in a relevant subject
You will have a professional publication record in a relevant commercial genre
You will be able to demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
You will have a scholarly interest in developing innovation narrative practice
You will have a professional academic and research profile

Experience should include:
Designing and delivering online learning materials
Relevant teaching practice at postgraduate and undergraduate levels
