You will contribute to extending the research profile of Creative Writing at Exeter, particularly in the area of prose writing (fiction and non-fiction). This full-time post is available immediately on a permanent basis.
Exeter’s English Department is one of the biggest and most successful in the country, regularly rating within the top ten in national league tables.
You will have:
A relevant PhD or equivalent and have an independent, internationally-recognised research programme in a relevant active field of research
A strong record in attracting funding for research, or demonstrate potential to attract such funding
An enthusiasm to work with colleagues in other disciplines to develop cross-disciplinary approaches
An active approach to inter-disciplinary and multi-disciplinary research
Enthusiasm for delivering high quality undergraduate programmes
Well-connected with links to individuals and organisations in relevant sectors
Experience of collaborative projects with non-HEI partners which have delivered impact and funding
