Lecturer in Creative Writing, Lancaster University
Deadline: Mon 26 Jun 2023
The Department of English Literature and Creative Writing at Lancaster University is in the top ten in the UK for Creative Writing (Complete University Guide 2023). We wish to add to our profile by appointing a Lecturer in Creative Writing. This is an indefinite post, to start 1 September 2023 or as soon as possible thereafter.

We are particularly interested in applicants who specialise in fiction writing but would also value applications that offer either scriptwriting (screen or stage) or the graphic novel. Candidates should have a strong profile in teaching and practice-based research as well as concrete plans for future projects and publications.

Our department is actively working to diversify its staff body and decolonise its curriculum, and we particularly encourage applications from Black, Asian and/or Ethnic Minorities and others with protected characteristics that are currently underrepresented in our department, such as LGBTQ+ and disabled applicants.
