The Department of English and Modern Languages at Oxford Brookes University seeks to appoint a new member of staff in Creative Writing, with a specialism in poetry.
The successful candidate will be a practising and publishing poet, who will contribute to the development of Creative Writing within its BA Creative Writing and English Literature and MA Creative Writing programmes.
The candidate will join in the delivery of innovative, attractive areas of teaching; in the research and writing of original publications; and in applications for external funding. The candidate will play a key role in Oxford Brookes' celebrated Poetry Centre, which is home to a new pamphlet press, an international poetry competition, and a whole host of public events and readings.
