The School of Literature, Drama and Creative Writing at UEA is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Creative Writing (Poetry) on an indefinite, part-time (0.75 FTE) basis from 1 September 2021.
This position has become available as a result of continued growth in our MA and PhD student numbers.
We require teaching on the MA in Creative Writing (Poetry), and the ability to supervise PhDs in Creative Writing (Poetry). The successful candidate will also contribute to undergraduate modules as agreed with the Head of School.
They will also be expected to contribute to BA and MA supervision and examining in creative writing, and to assist in the development of the MA in Creative Writing (Poetry), along with participating in other normal duties of a lecturer.
This is a research and teaching post and the successful candidate will be expected to be a published poet with an active profile in creative writing.
An interest in and ability to teach contemporary writing, publishing, editing and/or digital textualities might be an advantage.
