The School of English Literature, Language and Linguistics wishes to appoint a Lecturer in Creative Writing (Theatre Script).
You will have completed a PhD in a relevant subject area and/or a track record in the production and/or publication of significant, rigorous and original creative writing, as well as proven experience in teaching creative writing (theatre script) to undergraduate and postgraduate taught students.
You'll be expected to act as module leader and teach on the second-year module, 'Theatre Script Workshop' and on the MA modules ‘Masterclass: Monologue' and ‘Theatre Script Workshop'.
You will also be expected to supervise undergraduate and postgraduate independent work.
A record of high-quality practice-led teaching in creative writing (theatre script) is essential.
This role is part-time at 60% FTE and fixed-term for 12 months with an expected start date of 1st September 2021.
